National implementation of a web based biometric identification system within the criminal justice chain including prison services in The Netherlands. Each criminal is uniquely identified with a central biometric repository to avoid identity fraud. Each police station, prison and court is equipped with biometric enrolment and verification capabilities. HSB plays a major role in several parts of this major implementation.
